What's a
Temperament Test?
Evaluation, meet and greet, temperament test, they're all the same. In short, a temperament test is a free day of daycare that gives our staff the opportunity to learn more about your pup! All new dogs coming to Pup City for daycare or boarding must first take part in a temperament test. The test takes a minimum of 2 to 4 hours (though we can go shorter/longer, when needed) to ensure dogs acclimate comfortably to both the facility and pack play! We primarily observe your pup's physical/mental characteristics and their reaction to the same characteristics in other dogs. These tests are an essential part to the Pup City experience. Temperament testing is a foundational building block in maintaining a safe environment for every dog and employee on site! Do you have more questions regarding the temperament test? Check out the topic specific FAQ section below.
